So this place is a hidden gem. There are very few signs pointing it out from the main road and if you do follow the sign its a good 20 minutes down the road. It's absolutely beautiful, I've never seen dunes like this before. So colorful and unexpected for the area.

One of the most beautiful places visited on a Utah/Arizona trip. It's about 30 min drive off the main road, but totally worth the time. We stoped at the first parking spot (didn't enter the national park area) and it was amazing, especially at sunset time. The sand softness is comparable to the sand on Panama City beach, but much more colorful. Take your shoes off and go for a short walk, and feel the wind on the crest of the dune.

We were a group of 9 and more than half of us though it was the best stop!

To get into the park there is an $8 fee, which seems a bit high considering there isn't much to see besides the dunes.

Enjoyed this campground. It's on the smaller side. It has bathrooms and showers. The scenery is beautiful. There is a photo op set up to catch incredible pictures the sun setting on the dunes. The park is atv friendly.

Be warned that the road past the park does not has a gas station, cattle walk into the road, and it eventually leads into Arizona. So keep a sharp eye out for the signs to turn into the park, they're fairly hard to see.

We went on a 2 hour guided ATV tour through the sand dunes and it was so much fun! The park itself is so beautiful and the color of the sand is a bright coral color. I really enjoyed climbing to the top of the largest sand dune there. You could see so far! Also if you are into birding this was a great place to go for that!

This was one of the most fun places we visited while out UT/AZ. Beautiful dunes of all elevations. Interesting things to do and look at, and plenty of perfect sand to photograph. There are ATV rentals about a mile or two from the main park entrance if you'd rather explore via 4x4 and have some fun. We explored barefoot and it loved it.
