Always a nice drive. We think Johnson Canyon is beautiful. We like the pink cliffs you can see once you get up there a ways. The dirt road part was OK for our car, but we did not go all the way to Highway 12.
The hole in the Earth. There's no better feeling than disappearing in this rugged terrain. More importantly, it still maintains a quaint feeling with having all the necessary amenities in the surrounding communities. This national monument is truly a treasure in Utah
I like this national park. I wouldn't change a thing. The sights are nice and the wildlife is stunning. Good job nature.
If you want to get away and explore, this is the place. Slot canyons, rock formations and open areas for weeks and weeks of exploration, the only people you'll find are near the few 'popular' trails. Just make sure you know where you're going and are self sufficient, lot's of ground, not many people.
Highly recommended place to visit. Easy hike, or walk actually, after a short drive. No 4 wheel drive necessary (roads had just been graded in Oct before snow). Beautiful range of color on display! A must see with your own eyes! Great to see on a sunny day.
